Πρακτική Άσκηση

 

Το Κολλέγιο Ανατόλια δίνει τη δυνατότητα σε τελειόφοιτους ανώτερων και ανώτατων εκπαιδευτικών ιδρυμάτων, τμημάτων Λογιστικής/Οικονομικών, Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων, Εμπορίας και Διαφήμισης, Δημοσίων Σχέσεων, Marketing, Πληροφορικής/Προγραμματισμού, Βιβλιοθηκονομίας, Logistics, Φυτικής Παραγωγής, Έργων Υποδομής, να πραγματοποιήσουν την πρακτική τους άσκηση όπως ορίζεται απο το εκάστοτε πρόγραμμα (ΟΑΕΔ ΕΣΠΑ κλπ) και τη σχετική νομοθεσία του εκάστοτε εκπαιδευτικού ιδρύματος/φορέα, σε ένα ολοκληρωμένο επαγγελματικό, επιχειρησιακό και δημιουργικό περιβάλλον, κάνοντας το πρώτο βήμα στη καριέρα τους για την απόκτηση εμπειρίας. 

Οι σπουδαστές που θα πραγματοποιήσουν την πρακτική τους άσκηση στο Κολλέγιο Ανατόλια, θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να έρθουν σε επαφή με οργανωμένα συστήματα, να αποκτήσουν επαγγελματική εμπειρία, να αναπτύξουν τις δεξιότητές τους  και να χτίσουν τα θεμέλια της επαγγελματικής τους εμπειρίας στο πεδίο ενδιαφέροντός τους.

 

Απαραίτητα προσόντα:

  • Δικαίωμα εκπόνησης πρακτικής άσκησης μέσω ΟΑΕΔ ΕΣΠΑ ή ΙΕΚ

  • Καλή γνώση MS Office

  • Καλή γνώση αγγλικών

  • Επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες

Job Announcement for CTY Greece Summer Program Positions

 

The Center for Talented Youth at Anatolia College seeks applicants for the 2018 Summer Programs in Thessaloniki and Athens for full-time employment from the 22nd of June to the 13th of July 2018.  At CTY Greece, you will work with an exceptional group of students and dynamic colleagues, and gain valuable experience in a rigorous academic community. This is a great opportunity for professional development for young scientists (teaching assistants) or undergraduate or recent graduates (residential assistants).

The positions available are:

1. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Introduction to Psychology” in the Thessaloniki program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BA in Psychology
  • Excellent command of the English language

2. A Teaching Assistant for the course “CSI@CTY” in the Thessaloniki program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or another relevant to CSI degree
  • Excellent command of the English language

3. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Economics and Business” in the Athens program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BA in Economics or Business
  • Excellent command of the English language

4. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Fundamentals of Engineering Design” in the Athens program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BSc in Physics or Engineering
  • Excellent command of the English language

5. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Fundamentals of Engineering Design” in the Thessaloniki program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BSc in Physics or Engineering
  • Excellent command of the English language

6. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Math Modeling” in the Athens program, for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BSc in Mathematics
  • Excellent command of the English language

7. A Program Assistant for the Athens program, for Elementary school students.

  • Qualifications: Graduate of Pedagogical Department
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages

8. A Residential Assistant in the Thessaloniki Residential program for high school students.

  • Qualifications: Suitable candidates should be undergraduates or recent graduates of a university department
  • Excellent command of the English language

9. A Teaching Assistant for the course “Literature on stage” for high school students, for the needs of weekend programs throughout the year in Thessaloniki and Athens.

  • Qualifications: Suitable candidates should be have a degree in Theatre studies or an equivalent degree
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages

10. A Psychologist in Athens for high school students.

  • Qualifications: BA in Psychology and a postgraduate degree in School or Counseling Psychology. Previous experience working with students is desirable
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages

11. A Teaching Assistant for the course "International Relations" in Thessaloniki.

  • Qualifications: BA in International Relations or Politics or in a relevant degree
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages

 

The Job Responsibilities for each position are shown below:

TEACHING ASSISTANTS (TAs) are expected to assist the instructor during class time. Their daily working hours are morning/afternoon class times and evening sessions, where appropriate. TAs are expected to:

  • tutor students
  • assist with the class paperwork, photocopying, and clerical tasks
  • set up and clean up demonstrations, activities, and laboratory experiments
  • assist with the smooth operation of the class

PROGRAM ASSISTANTS (PAs) are responsible for student supervision both inside and outside the classroom.  

  • tutor students

  • supervise students during lunch, breaks, and afternoon activities
  • assist with morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up

RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANTS (RAs):

  • are responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of students
  • help create a community where students can succeed socially and academically
  • attend daily meetings, plan and prepare student activities and events
  • assisting with any residential program needs that arise

RAs’ working hours are primarily the hours students are not in class, including weekends.

Βοηθός Νηπιαγωγείου / Συνοδός Σχολικού Λεωφορείου

 

Tο Κολλέγιο Ανατόλια καλεί την εκδήλωση ενδιαφέροντος για τη θέση του/της Βοηθού Νηπιαγωγείο/ Συνοδού Σχολικού Λεωφορείου για τη στελέχωση του Δημοτικού Σχολείου, με έναρξη απασχόλησης εντός του ακαδημαϊκού έτους 2017-2018.

Εκπαίδευση και Εργασιακή Εμπειρία:

  • Πτυχίο Παιδαγωγικού Τμήματος Προσχολικής Εκπαίδευσης

 ή Πτυχίο ή δίπλωμα τμήματος Βρεφονηπιοκομίας ή Προσχολικής Αγωγής ΤΕΙ 

Η προϋπηρεσία στον εκπαιδευτικό χώρο, η γνώση αγγλικής γλώσσας, και οι δραστηριότητες σε άλλους τομείς,  θα αξιολογηθούν.

IB Diploma Programme Teacher

 

Anatolia College invites expression of interest for the position of an experienced IB Diploma Programme Teacher for a full-time teaching position in any one, or a combination of, the following subjects, starting in September 2018:

- Visual Arts for the IB Diploma

- World Arts and Cultures (school-based syllabus) for the IB Diploma

Teaching of any of the above subjects may be combined with the teaching of the IB Diploma core, i.e. Supervision of Extended Essays, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity, Service; this means previous experience in any of the above will be considered a strong advantage.

About the IB Diploma Programme at Anatolia

Anatolia College is an 11 – 18 co-educational High School, which offers the option of either following the Greek curriculum or entering the IBDP in grades 11 and 12. The school was authorized to offer the IBDP in 1998 and is currently also an MYP school, authorized in 2016.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Overall, the teacher should be committed to the school’s and IBO’s educational goals, diligent in his/her execution of duties, effective in his/her teaching and eager to contribute to out of class activities. Principal responsibilities include:

  • To plan, prepare and deliver course materials that will effectively support subject teaching, in line with the “Approaches to Teaching and Learning” outlined by the IBO.
  • To actively pursue the IBDP course aims and objectives while ensuring full and effective syllabus coverage.
  • To actively participate in all regular or extraordinary IBDP faculty meetings or subject group meetings.
  • To effectively carry out any out-of-class duties assigned by the IBDP Coordinator.
  • To take part in the school’s extracurricular program.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Essential:

  • University degree in the relevant field(s)
  • Experience in teaching relevant subject(s) at secondary schools
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Teaching certificate or teaching license that would allow one to teach in a public school of their country of origin

Desirable:

  • Experience in teaching for the IB Diploma 
  • Native speaker of English 
  • Experience in advising students for applications to universities

Employment Terms

  • Two Years Contract
  • Part time to Full Time (depending on the combination of subjects taught out of those noted above)
  • Gross Salary: up to 30,000 euros/year depending on teaching hours/week, health insurance benefits. For Long-Term overseas hires additional benefits (housing on campus or housing allowance, airfares to and from Greece, baggage allowance).
